According to Eva Ziegler, the global brand leader for W Hotels Worldwide and Le Meridien, W Taipei marks an important step in the global expansion of the W brand, in particular in Chinese mainland and the Taiwan region. And Qian Jin — the senior vice president of operations, Greater China, for Starwood Hotels and Resorts — commented that W Taipei is the ultimate urban getaway in the middle of one of Asia's hippest and most cosmopolitan cities.
He added that without a doubt, W Taipei would be the venue of choice for discerning and style-conscious trendsetters who want to be wowed by the finer things in life: particularly those inspired by W brand's unique mix of forward looking design and innovative style.
W Taipei features an assortment of signature restaurants and lounges. The Kitchen Table offers a broad menu of tandoor dishes, wood-fired pizzas, salads, succulent seafood, and grill dishes. Outside on the Wet pool sky deck there is al fresco dining with an urban barbecue overlooking Taipei's Technicolor city lights. On the 31st floor, the W brand's Cantonese restaurant, Yen, features a bar and serves dim sum, fresh seafood, signature soups, and desserts and it hasfive private dining rooms.
