Lijiang is the main region of residence of Naxi Group, one of China's 55 minority ethnic groups. In its long history, the local residents have established their splendid Dongba Culture, conjuncted with the culture of Tibet and the Central Plains in central China. Naxi people have their own language and music.The various souvenirs marked with these Dongba hieroglyphs are very popular and quite cheap.
Around the ancient city, there are many places worthy visiting, including Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and Lugu Lake, which are most famous both at home and abroad.
