Renmin Park comprises of a bonsai garden, a children's funfair and a Monument to the Martyrs. All these sites are situated around a beautiful lake, where you can enjoy the facility of boating by hiring pedal boats. The best way to get a feel of the park is by strolling around the park and soaking in the serene and tranquil ambience of the park.
If you enter the Renmin Park early, you can see the martial arts enthusiasts practicing martial arts diligently and in a similar manner, dancers also practice their art in the park squares. If you are tired and need to relax, then you can visit the teahouse of the Renmin Park. The teahouse of the park is the ideal place to drink the finest tea available in Chengdu and while sipping your cup of tea, you can also participate in some pleasant conversation with your near and dear ones.
Perhaps the best thing about this place however, is the wonderful teahouse in the grounds. Tea houses abound in this city and this is a particularly popular one with locals who come to sip, chat and stay all day!
